after travelling around tuscanny/umbria its in a relatively boring bit of sub-arezzo countryside ... but on the other hand Arezzo is only 5 mins in the car and people are really nice and pool and hotel are super

Pity that you had to order lunch and dinner in advance and the price for food was a little too high for a family of five.

The hotel, nestled amongst green fields, provided a secluded and peaceful atmosphere, which was perfect for us. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent, with a delightful waitress ensuring that breakfast was a pleasant experience. The rooms were well-maintained and we particularly enjoyed the nice outdoor terrace, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

No improvements needed, everything was great!

Excellent!- we stayed in 6 different hotels while in Tuscany, and the 'la Capanne' came out at the top of our list. Nice pool, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast with good coffee, the on site restaurant, and the great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly- my wife was very impressed with one waiter in particular?? All in all It’s a 3 star hotel which deserves a 4 stars rating ………....and I here a voice from my side saying; “and 5 stars for the unnamed waiter!"

loved the 17th century building, friendly staff, great location near Arezzo. Amazing pool, cool restaurant, and even llamas for the kids. Wish our stay had been longer, can't fault it.

Staying in a charming Italian guesthouse in a picturesque Tuscan village, one can enjoy a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the area. The location is perfect for those who are accustomed to driving up & down mountains. The well-fitted rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable, with free drinks in the fridge. The breakfast is simple yet filling, and there are plenty of private areas for chit-chatting. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of sunflowers and a working farm.

The hotel may be a bit hard to find in the dark for first-time guests.

The view from the hotel was perfect, with the sun rising from behind the hills in front of the hotel: a beautiful view. The rooms were pleasantly decorated with wooden beam ceilings and old wooden doors, creating a rustic yet charming atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and served in a spacious breakfast area, with a huge pool table adding to the entertainment options. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the basic amenities were well-maintained. this hotel offered a peaceful and comfortable stay.
